Italeri's 1/35th scale Elephant. An old kit I upgraded to today's standard. I corrected the flaws in the kit, then proceded to super detail it. Friul track and Edward photo etch was used. I used Elmer's wood filler for the Zimmeritt, paying close attention to get the spacing and depth correct.
The camo pattern was dry brushed on using Polly S colors.

The last two Elephants were with the 614 Pz Jg Coy during the Battle of Berlin.

The building was designed in a Neo-Classical style and built entirely from scratch as was the fence, cobblestone, debris, and oil drum.

The crew are resin castings of figures I had made for Farina Enterprises.
The stone wall was made from styrofoam and textured with Elmer's Wood Filler.

The prone figure was modified from a figure from the old Tamiya Panzergrenadier set. His head is from Hornet.

  1. Hi, amazing work of art. I respect guys who can paint like this without an airbrush. I am trying to practice. How did you make the fence?
